1. Terengah-engah saat naik tangga

Berat suatu jenis kayu berbanding lurus dengan BJ-nya. Kayu mempunyai berat jenis yang berbeda-beda, berkisar antara BJ minimum 0,2 (kayu balsa) sampai BJ 1,28 (kayu nani). Umumnya makin tinggi BJ kayu, kayu semakin berat dan semakin kuat pula. <br /><br />Keawetan<br /><br />Keawetan adalah ketahanan kayu terhadap serangan dari unsur-unsur perusak kayu dari luar seperti jamur, rayap, bubuk dll. Keawetan kayu tersebut disebabkan adanya zat ekstraktif didalam kayu yang merupakan unsur racun bagi perusak kayu. Zat ekstraktif tersebut terbentuk pada saat kayu gubal berubah menjadi kayu teras sehingga pada umumnya kayu teras lebih awet dari kayu gubal. <br /><br />Warna<br /><br />Kayu yang beraneka warna macamnya disebabkan oleh zat pengisi warna dalam kayu yang berbeda-beda. <br /><br />Tekstur<br /><br />Tekstur adalah ukuran relatif sel-sel kayu. Berdasarkan teksturnya, kayu digolongkan kedalam kayu bertekstur halus (contoh: giam, kulim dll), kayu bertekstur sedang (contoh: jati, sonokeling dll) dan kayu bertekstur kasar (contoh: kempas, meranti dll). <br /><br />Arah Serat<br /><br />Arah serat adalah arah umum sel-sel kayu terhadap sumbu batang pohon. Arah serat dapat dibedakan menjadi serat lurus, serat berpadu, serat berombak, serta terpilin dan serat diagonal (serat miring). <br /><br />Kesan Raba<br /><br />Kesan raba adalah kesan yang diperoleh pada saat meraba permukaan kayu (kasar, halus, licin, dingin, berminyak dll). Kesan raba tiap jenis kayu berbeda-beda tergantung dari tekstur kayu, kadar air, kadar zat ekstraktif dalam kayu. <br /><br /><br />Sifat mekanika kayu adalah perilaku kayu terhadap beban luar yang mengenainya.<br />Jenis – Jenis Sifat Mekanik :<br /><br />1. Kuat Tarik :<br />Kuat tarik adalah kekuatan kayu untuk menahan gaya-gaya yang berusaha menarik kayu. Terdapat 2 (dua) macam kuat tarik yaitu : <br />Kuat tarik sejajar arah serat dan <br />Kuat tarik tegak lurus arah serat.<br />Kekuatan tarik terbesar pada kayu ialah keteguhan tarik sejajar arah serat. Kekuatan tarik tegak lurus arah serat lebih kecil daripada kekuatan tarik sejajar arah serat. <br /><br />2. Kuat tekan / Kompresi<br /><br />Keteguhan tekan/kompresi adalah kekuatan kayu untuk menahan muatan/beban. Terdapat 2 (dua) macam keteguhan tekan yaitu : <br />Keteguhan tekan sejajar arah serat dan <br />Keteguhan tekan tegak lurus arah serat.<br />Pada semua kayu, keteguhan tegak lurus serat lebih kecil daripada keteguhan kompresi sejajar arah serat. <br /><br />3. It contains an active lava dome which regularly produces pyroclastic flows. Eruptions occur at intervals of 1-5 years and are of low gas pressure. Since magma is poor in gas, eruptions are usually less than VEI 3 in size.<br /><br />Merapi is one of the most active volcanoes in Indonesia and has produced more pyroclastic flows than any other volcano in the world. It has been active for 10,000 years.<br /><br /><br />Most eruptions of Merapi involve a collapse of the lava dome creating pyroclastic flows which travel 6 to 7 km from the summit. Some awan panas have traveled as far as 13 km from the summit, such as the deposit generated during the 1969 eruption. Velocity of pyroclastic flows can reach up to 110 km/hour. A slow up flow of andesitic magma leads to an extrusion of viscous magma, which accumulate and construct a dome in the crater.<br /><br />Violent Eruptions at Merapi volcano<br />There is evidence that the current low level of activity may be interrupted by larger explosive eruptions. Eruptions of Merapi volcano during the 7–19th centuries A.D. were more violent than the past hundred years, and produced explosion pyroclastic flows. Widespread pyroclastic flows and surges traveled up to 25 km down the flanks of Merapi.<br /><br />Scientists predict that the quiet of the 20th century will be broken by a larger<br />explosive eruption within coming decades. (Scientific report published in 2000).<br /><br />2010 Eruption<br />Merapi volcano was raised to level 3 alert (out of a maximum 4) due to inflation and volcanic earthquakes on 21st October 2010. Sand miners were asked to stop all activity, and people advised not to climb the volcano.<br />Merapi volcano erupted on 26th October 2010 killing 34 people.<br /><br />2006 Eruptions<br />Seismic activity began increasing at Merapi volcano in March 2006, and 10,000 residents were prepared for evacuation. On 10th April people were banned from climbing the volcano. On 12th April the Alert Level was raided from 2 to 3. An 8 km exclusion zone was placed around the volcano. On 27th April nearly 2,000 villagers were evacuated from Sidorejo and Tegalmulyo villages around Merapi volcano. On 13th May, the Alert Level was raised to the highest level 4, and about 4,500 people living near the volcano were evacuated. On 15th May pyroclastic flows traveled up to 4 km west. By 16th May, more than 22,000 people had been evacuated. On 8th June, the lava-dome growth rate at Merapi was an estimated 100,000 cubic meters per day, with an estimated volume of 4 million cubic meters. Pyroclastic flows and rockfalls decreased in frequency and intensity after 28th June 2006.<br /><br />2006 Earthquakes<br />On 27th May 2006 a magnitude 6.3 earthquake killed about 5,400 people produced in a three-fold increase in activity at Merapi volcano. On 17th July 2006 a magnitude 7.7 earthquake hit 50 km south of Merapi volcano. The earthquake was the result of thrust-faulting on the boundary between the Australian and Sunda tectonic plates. The earthquake produced an 8 m high tsunami which hit the southern coast of Java. This event was classified as a tsunami earthquake, because of the low earthquake magnitude compared to the tsunami size. The earthquake caused 5,750 deaths, 38,560 injuries, and up to 600,000 people displaced in the Bantul-Yogyakarta area.<br /><br />2001 Eruption<br />A major eruption began at Merapi volcano on 10th February 2001. A 30-minute-long pyroclastic flow occurred at 0200 hr. At 0330 hr there was a collapse of the 1998 lava dome which ejected ash 5 km above the summit and produced a pyroclastic flows that extended 7 km in the direction of the Sat River.<br /><br />1998 Eruptions<br />Activity at Merapi volcano began increasing in July 1998. On 11th July 37 nuées ardentes occurred between midnight and 0500 hr. Between 11-19 July, 128 nuées ardentes occurred, including a strong pyroclastic ash and block flow at 1500 on 19th July.<br /><br />1994 Eruptions<br />On 22nd November 1994, a large number of dome-collapse nuees ardentes were generated over a period of several hours at Merapi volcano. The nuees ardentes descended mainly the Boyong valley and the Bedog valley, a tributary of the Krasak-Kecil valley. This was in contrast to the 1984 and 1992 flows which traveled exclusively towards the southwest and west.<br /><br />1986-87 Eruptions<br />Lava dome formation at Merapi volcano in 1986-87 was the largest since 1973.<br /><br />1968 Eruptions<br />At the end of May 1968 a lava tongue had extended 875 m and was the result of new lava done extrusion after the 1967 collapse. The number of avalanches from the lava tongue were 1432 in June, 1370 July, 329 August, and 12 in September. Renewed activity began at Merapi volcano in October 1968 with an increasing number of lava avalanches.<br /><br />1967 Eruptions<br />A lava dome extruded in April 1967 at the upper Batang River on the SW slope of Merapi volcano. That way you can master all the existing bandwidth quota, so you can more quickly open a web page and donwload or upload a file on the internet.Use of this software is very easy, you just donwload the software at HERE, and then restart the computer if you install and then run the software. When the software is run automatically the software will detect all of the computers that are online in the hotspot network that you are using (see picture above). To break the internet access hotspots such a person in a network, you simply select it and click the Cut-Off. Hari raya yang merupakan ekspresi syukur kepada Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala (SWT) atas selesainya sebuah jihad jasadi dan rohani yang dilakukan oleh sebagian dari kita yang sedang menunaikan ibadah haji di tanah suci Makkah dan Madinah.<br /><br />Ma’asyiral Muslimin Rahimakumullah!<br /><br />Sesungguhnya hari raya bukan hanya aktifitas ritual atau rutinitas religi setiap tahun, namun ia merupakan hari agung yang bermakna besar baik secara hablumminannas (horizontal) atau hablumminallah (vertikal), baik secara individual maupun kolektif, baik spiritual ataupun sosial. Sebab hari raya Idul Adha adalah manifestasi dan realisasi dari dimensi spiritual yang sangat dalam, menyelami perjuangan panjang, pengorbanan dan kesabaran yang dilakukan oleh nabi Ibrahim ’alaihis salam dalam menjalankan perintah-perintah Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala, memperjuangkan ketauhidan, merintis generasi terbaik (khairu ummat) yang dibimbing oleh Rasulullah SAW.<br /><br />Apa yang diperjuangkan oleh nabiyullah Ibrahim AS dalam memerangi kebodohan, kemistikan, kezaliman dan kediktatoran dicatat dalam oleh Al-Qur’an. Beliau tampil menjadi sosok yang terus berkorban untuk menyebarkan risalah Allah dan menghidupkan umat dengan nilai-nilai iman, tauhid dan pengorbanan walau harus dipanggang dalam api yang menyala-nyala.<br /><br />Pengorbanan tersebut tidak berhenti di sini, tetapi lebih jauh lagi abu al-anbiyaa, Ibrahim AS bahkan diperintah Allah agar rela mengorbankan belahan jantungnya, Ismail AS, anak laki-laki yang sangat ia cintai. Kita tidak bisa bayangkan betapa beratnya perintah tersebut! Hal itu tidak mungkin akan dilakukan oleh seseorang kecuali atas dasar keimanan tinggi, tawakkal yang sempurna, dan ketulusan hati yang dalam sehingga Allah tebus ketaatan dan keikhlasan tersebut dengan seekor domba. Sebuah peristiwa yang kemudian Allah abadikan dengan pujian yang baik bagi generasi berikut dengan berkurban di saat musim haji dan hari raya Idul Adha.<br /><br />Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar!<br />Ma’asyiral Muslimin Rahimakumullah!<br /><br />Apa yang terjadi pada diri nabi Ibrahim AS, tentu tidak terjadi secara tidak sengaja dan tanpa desain. Bila kita renungkan secara seksama rangkaian peristiwa yang meliputi nabi Ibrahim dan putranya Ismail AS yang kelak melahirkan Rasulullah SAW di tanah Makkah, sesungguhnya semuanya telah didesain oleh desainer super (super designer) yaitu Allah SWT.<br /><br />Sebuah misi dan proyek besar ini diawali dari sejak nabi Ibrahim meninggalkan negeri Irak yang terkenal subur, menuju Hijaz/Jazirah Arab yang gersang dan tandus sebagaimana dijelaskan oleh Al-Qur’an: ”Ya Tuhan kami, sesungguhnya aku telah menempatkan sebahagian keturunanku di lembah yang tidak mempunyai tanam-tanaman di dekat rumah Engkau (Baitullah) yang dihormati, ya Tuhan kami (yang demikian itu) agar mereka mendirikan salat, maka jadikanlah hati sebagian manusia cenderung kepada mereka dan beri rezekilah mereka dari buah-buahan, mudah-mudahan mereka bersyukur.” (Ibrahim : 37).<br /><br />Apa yang terjadi di atas, sesungguhnya menegaskan adanya proyek dan kontrak besar yang terjadi antara Allah dan nabi Ibrahim AS. Dan sebagai bagian dari hal tersebut—dengan kekuasaan Allah—di hari tua nabi agung ini mendapatkan keturunan yaitu Ismail dan Ishak yang ia doakan agar senantiasa melahirkan keturunan yang selalu mendirikan shalat. Doa ini kemudian direspon Allah dengan kelahiran nabi Isa AS dan khatamu al-nabiyyin, Muhammad SAW yang membawa ajaran Islam yang menyempurnakan ajaran anbiya sebelumnya.<br /><br />Sekali lagi, proses penempatan nabi Ibrahim di Makkah dengan mendirikan Ka’bah, melahirkan nabi Ismail kemudian nabi Muhammad SAW merupakan skenario besar dan desain agung yang diinginkan oleh-Nya agar lahir kemudian masyarakat yang dijuluki oleh Al-Qur’an sebagai khairu ummat (sebaik-baik umat) yaitu umat Islam. Skenario dan desain yang diinginkan oleh Allah ini kemudian diabadikan dan disimbolisasikan dalam praktek yang diteladankan oleh Rasulullah SAW dan diikuti oleh umatnya dari dahulu, sekarang dan di masa mendatang dalam prosesi ibadah haji yang dilaksanakan di tanah suci Mekkah-Madinah.<br /><br />Maka lantunan seruan yang menggema di tanah suci adalah kata-kata ’labbaikallahumma labbaik, labbaika la syarika laka...! (Di sini aku memenuhi panggilan-Mu ya Allah, saya berada di sini...tiada sekutu bagi-Mu ya Allah) sesungguhnya adalah ikrar dan proklamasi kesiapan masing-masing jama’ah haji untuk menghadirkan kembali kontrak Ilahi antara nabi Ibrahim dan Allah tersebut dalam mega proyek yang disiapkan oleh Rabbu al-Izzah untuk selalu melahirkan generasi-generasi imani dan Qur’ani.<br /><br />Di sinilah substansi esensial dari prosesi haji sesungguhnya yang harus dimaknai baik oleh mereka yang menjalankannya atau bagi umat yang merayakan hari raya Idul Adha di negeri masing-masing. Ikrar individual yang dilakukan oleh jemaah haji untuk selalu siap mengagungkan asma Allah, siap mengulangi sikap taat, ikhlas, tawakkal dan ber-taqarrub kepada-Nya seperti yang dilakukan oleh nabi Ibrahim, hendaknya juga dapat dihadirkan oleh setiap individu Muslim di manapun mereka berada. Sebab tanpa dapat memaknai hari raya ini dengan hal demikian, sesungguhnya kita telah kehilangan substansi esensial dari Idul Adha.<br /><br />Dengan Idul Adha, Allah melatih dan menempa umatnya agar senantiasa berkemauan tinggi, berkorban dan bersabar dalam mendekatkan diri kepada Allah dan sesama manusia, karena hanya dengan yang demikian umat ini dapat menapaki tangga menuju kejayaan dan kegemilangan. Semua ini tidak dapat dihadirkan secara mudah, tetapi membutuhkan penempaan diri, pelatihan kejiwaan agar amalan yang berat dapat menjadi ringan.<br /><br />Hal demikian yang telah diteladankan oleh Rasulullah SAW kepada bangsa Arab sehingga mereka berbondong-bondong masuk Islam yang tampil sebagai agama yang membebaskan manusia dari berbagai belenggu sosial, politik, ekonomi dan lain sebagainya. Dengan didasari oleh prinsip-prinsip Al-Qur’an, Rasulullah berhasil menghadirkan umat yang bekerja keras, rasional, peduli, jujur, komitmen, amanah, mementingkan orang lain dan cinta damai. Kondisi ini kemudian berhasil memelejitkan bangsa Arab pada zaman dahulu yang dicatat oleh sejarah sebagai pemimpin dunia ilmu pengetahuan dan peradaban. Ilmu pengetahuan dan peradaban yang dibangun di atas dasar persaudaraan, kebebasan dan keadilan.<br /><br />Oleh karenanya, umat Islam yang sedang menunaikan ibadah haji atau yang sedang merayakan Idul Adha, seyogyanya dapat menyelami makna dari misi dan proyek besar Allah di atas serta mengkaji lebih dalam lagi tentang kontrak agung antara Allah dan nabiyullah Ibrahim dalam menghadirkan khairu ummat. Kita diharuskan untuk terus menerus menebar kebaikan, berjuang memerangi kebodohan, kemiskinan, kezaliman dan kediktatoran serta menebar peduli, empati, berbagi, terus mendekatkan kepada Allah dan mendekatkan diri antar sesama manusia sebagaimana diteladankan oleh nabi Ibrahim dan nabi Muhammad SAW selama hidup mereka.<br /><br />Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar!<br />Ma’asyiral Muslimin Rahimakumullah!<br /><br />Masing-masing kita terus melantunkan takbir, tahmid, dan tahlil dari sejak tadi malam. Lantunan takbir, tahmid, dan tahlil yang merupakan manifestasi dari rasa syukur kita kepada Allah SWT atas segala nikmat yang kita dapati. Takbir, tahmid, dan tahlil ini sesungguhnya punya spektrum makna yang sangat luas sekali. Oleh karenanya ketika kita pergi ke tempat shalat Ied dan pulang darinya hendaklah dilakukan dari jalan yang berbeda agar gaung takbir, tahmid dan tahlil tersebut dapat didengar oleh seluruh semesta.<br /><br />Oleh karenanya seorang yang tergolong kaya akan sejenak melupakan ketergantungan dan keterbelengguan dengan harta, merendahkan hati menyongsong kebenaran dan keagungan Allah karena menyadaari bahwa seluruh orang yang ada di sekitarnya adalah saudara.<br /><br />Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar!<br />Ma’asyiral Muslimin Rahimakumullah!<br /><br />Hari raya secara sosiologis juga memberi ruang yang lebar kepada anak-anak untuk bersenang gembira, memfasilitasi kaum dhuafa agar meraih kemudahan dan kelapangan, hari di mana para kerabat dan keluarga dapat bertemu dalam ikatan persaudaraan, empati dan kebajikan, hari di mana kaum Muslimin dipertemukan dalam toleransi dan saling kunjung mengunjungi berbagi cerita sukses, hari di mana para sahabat dapat memperbaharui rajutan cinta dan kedekatan, di hari di mana para tetangga dapat memperbaharui kedekatan relasi dan kerjasama karena mereka adalah saudara kita yang paling dekat.<br /><br />Pada hari ini, masyarakat diingatkan dan dilatih untuk peduli terhadap haknya para dhuafa dan kaum papa. Dengan demikian, membentanglah spektrum keceriaan di hari raya ini ke seluruh anak bangsa dan kenikmatannya dapat membanjiri setiap rumah tangga yang ada. Dan keceriaan akan menembus seluruh relung-relung hati masyarakat, baik anak atau orang tua, muda atau tua, wanita atau laki, karyawan atau majikan dan lain-lain.<br /><br />Pada hari ini, kemuliaan dan keikhlasan hati untuk berkurban tumbuh bersemi dan diharapkan tidak berhenti di sini tetapi dapat berkembang dan berlanjut hingga di masa mendatang. Dengan demikian, sikap ikhlas beramal, berkurban dan berbagi dengan hati ikhlas yang penuh dengan cinta kasih dapat menghiasi kehidupan kita berbangsa, bernegara dan bahkan berkonstitusi di tengah kondisi bangsa dewasa ini. Gimana caranya supaya saya bisa cerdas dan pinter? (Ahmad, Depok)<br /><br />Hmm, supaya pinter ya belajar mas hehehe. Kalau dosen jawab seperti itu pasti disebut basbang alias basi banget :) Diskusi masalah kecerdasan manusia, tentu tidak bisa tanpa menyinggung masalah otak manusia, karena disini awal segala kisruhnya. Kapasitas otak manusia sangat besar, bahkan ada yang menyebut tidak terbatas. Hanya sayangnya orang biasanya hanya menggunakan 1% dari otaknya, sedangkan orang jenius berhasil menggunakan 4-5% otaknya. Lha kok bisa? Dan bagaimana supaya kita juga bisa jadi cerdas? Ikuti terus tulisan ini.<br /><br />Otak manusia tersusun dari neuron-neuron yang jumlah totalnya mencapai 1 trilyun. Walaupun kecil, konon kabarnya satu neuron itu memiliki kecepatan pemrosesan yang setara dengan satu unit komputer. Adam Kho lewat bukunya “I am Gifted, So Are You” mengatakan bahwa otak itu apabila dituliskan dalam bentuk digital akan menjadi tulisan sepanjang 10.5 juta kilometer. Ketika jarak terjauh bumi dan bulan itu sekitar 406.720 km, maka kapasitas otak kita setara dengan 25 kali perjalanan dari bumi ke bulan. Tambahan informasi lagi, dari buku Super Great Memori dikatakan bahwa, jika setiap detik dimasukkan 10 informasi kedalam otak kita sampai 100 tahun, maka otak manusia masih belum terisi separuhnya. Ada beberapa peneliti yang mencoba mengkuantifikasi kapasitas otak, ada yang menyebut 3 terabyte, dan ada juga yang menyebut mencapai 1000 terabyte.<br /><br />Sedemikian dahsyatnya kapasitas otak kita, tapi sayangnya kita hanya menggunakan kurang dari 1%nya. Dan orang jenius seperti Albert Einstein, konon kabarnya juga hanya menggunakan 5% dari seluruh kapasitas otaknya.<br /><br />Artinya apa? Manusia memiliki kapasitas otak yang sama, yang implikasinya adalah sebenarnya kita semua memiliki daya tangkap terhadap suatu materi pembelajaran sama. Dan tidak ada manusia bodoh di muka bumi ini!<br /><br />Lha kok, tapi di kelas ada yang cerdas dan ada yang tidak? Itu karena sistem retrieval (pencarian kembali) manusia berbeda-beda. Orang yang cerdas itu adalah orang yang memiliki sistem retrieval yang baik. Seperti sebelumnya saya sebutkan diatas, kapasitas otak manusia mungkin mencapai 1000 terabyte, bayangkan seandainya laptop kita berkapasitas 1000 terabyte, pasti lambat melakukan pencarian file, apalagi kalau letak fisik filenya tidak tertata dengan baik alias terpecah-pecah di berbagai tempat dalam harddisk kita.<br /><br />Trus gimana caranya supaya sistem retrievalnya bagus? Ada banyak cara komputasi yang bisa dilakukan, paling tidak untuk mengatasi informasi yang tidak tertata dengan baik, kita menggunakan tool defragmenter. Defragmentasi? ya, lakukan defragmentasi pada otakmu!<br /><br />Sebagai catatan, kata wikipedia, defragmentasi adalah sebuah proses untuk menangani berkas-berkas yang mengalami fragmentasi internal. Sebuah berkas dikatakan terfragmentasi mana kala berkas tersebut tidak menempati ruangan yang saling berdekatan dalam penyimpanan fisik. Fragmentasi dapat menyebabkan subsistem media penyimpanan melakukan operasi pencarian data yang lebih banyak, sehingga dengan kata lain berkas terfragmentasi dapat memperlambat kerja sistem, khususnya pada saat melakukan operasi yang berkaitan dengan media penyimpanan.<br /><br />Jadi ketika kita menerima materi pelajaran, sebenarnya kita semua berhasil menangkap semua yang diajarkan oleh guru atau dosen kita. Namun ada yang kita simpan di bumi dan ada yang terlempar di bulan, inilah yang disebut dengan fragmentasi itu.<br /><br />Trus gimana caranya supaya kita bisa mendefragmentasi otak kita? Caranya adalah dengan mengulang-ulangi pelajaran. Mengulang-ulang pelajaran, itu sama saja dengan menarik materi yang terlempar di bulan tadi supaya mendekat ke bumi, sehingga lebih cepat ketika kita mencari kembali. Dan ini sesuai dengan yang dikatakan Adam Kho, bahwa orang yang cerdas adalah orang yang neuron-neuronnya saling tersambung (neuron-connection). Semakin banyak hubungan antarneuron, maka semakin cerdas kita dalam suatu bidang. Kecerdasan itu bisa kita latih!<br /><br />Sayapun tidak terlahir secara default sebagai orang cerdas, masa TK-SD saya pernah mengalami kendala sulit membedakan huruf b dan d. Sampai ada satu ungkapan guru saya yang masih saya ingat sampai sekarang, “Rom, b itu yang bokong(pantat)nya dibelakang, dan d itu yang bokongnya di depan“. Ada juga guru yang menyebut saya terkena disleksia kompleks, plus ditambahi dengan anak yang suram masa depannya hehehe sempurna deh :)<br /><br />Jadi? Cuma sayangnya, saya tidak hafal tipe-tipenya :).<br /><br />Adapun tips-tipsnya adalah sebagai berikut.<br /><br />1. Perhatikan voltage / daya listriknya. Kebanyakan printer yang rusak diakibatkan karena tidak adanya perlindungan listrik yang stabil, usahakan menggunakan stabilizer dengan sistem servo motor.<br /><br />2. Jangan pernah mencoba memaksa mencabut kertas yang nge-JAM / macet dengan cara paksa, kalaupun terpaksa, usahakan menarik searah kertas keluar pada saat printer mencetak, tetapi akan lebih baik bila anda segera membawanya ke tempat service, daripada dipaksa dan harus ganti sparepart, biasanya yang kena adalah bagian film, dan gear yang mudah rontok/rusak pada saat kertas ditarik dengan paksa.<br /><br />3. Jaga agar serpihan "kawat strapless" tidak sampai terjatuh pada baki/tempat kertas, atau lubang-lubang printer, hal ini disebabkan karena teknologi pemanasan printer tersebut menggunakan plastic film, sehingga akan mudah sekali terkoyak jika terkena oleh benda-benda tajam, dan mengakibatkan kertas lecet dan hasil cetak tidak sempurna (ada bercaknya).<br /><br />4. Jika sudah selesai menggunakan printer, segera matikan. Jangan menyalakan printer terlalu lama, apalagi sampai semalaman kalau tidak dipakai, ditambah kalau penggunaan printernya langsung dicolokkan ke listrik tanpa stabilizer.<br /><br />5. Kalau anda ingin mencetak sesuatu diatas media lain yang mengandung bahan plastik, seperti: sticker atau kertas transparan, yakinkan dulu kalau media tersebut tahan panas. Jika media tersebut tidak tahan terhadap panas, media itu dapat meleleh/mencair di dalam printer dan akan menyebabkan kerusakan. Saran saya, coba gunakan media yang asli dari pembuatnya, misalnya memakai kertas/media lain buatan HP yang asli.<br /><br />6. Jangan pernah memaksakan toner yang sudah bocor untuk mencetak, hal ini akan menyebabkan bertumpuknya butiran toner pada pemanas, yang akhirnya berakibat menempelnya toner tersebut di bagian pemanas dan roller pada printer. Nantinya, printer akan cacat ketika melakukan pencetakan.<br /><br />7. Usahakan agar setiap 5-6 bulan sekali printer anda di service. Tujuannya adalah untuk membersihkan bagian dalamnya dari butiran bubuk toner. Ada ungkapan, lebih baik mencegah daripada mengobati bukan ? Jangan jawab bukan ya :)<br /><br />Itulah beberapa tips untuk printer laser merk HP.
